Anne and I would like to let you know about a very special place that we fell in love with several years ago. It's a beautiful little community called Puerto Aventuras and it's located in the Mayan Riviera (a little south of Playa del Carmen). We own the month of March in a condo unit in Porto Bello, one of the prettiest buildings in Puerto Aventuras, not to mention, also the best location. We chose to buy in March because it is a fantastic time of the year to vacation in the Mayan Riviera. Unfortunately for Anne and me, it's also one of the busiest times of the year for us because of our business, so we rarely get to go in March ourselves. In order for us to go there, we trade a week of our March time frame with another owner who has a unit later in the year. Not as good as March, but it's still "Heaven." After our trade, this leaves three weeks for us to rent the unit to our friends, who might be looking for someplace special to have a vacation.
